Child Abuse Identification, Reporting and Prevention
This 2-hour training provides essential knowledge to identify, prevent and report child abuse. Child Abuse Identification, Reporting and Prevention addresses behaviors or physical indicators or signs that may constitute abuse and neglect, how to report reasonable suspicions to authorities, and the process and what to expect when a report is made.
Target Audience: social workers, childcare providers, caregivers, parents, or any individual who needs more information regarding identifying, preventing and reporting child abuse.
This training is fully online and provides 2 CEUs. This training approved for LMSW and LCSW continuing education. This training is NOT for those seeking licensure in NYS (see NYS Mandated Child Abuse Training). This Child Abuse training will NOT be reported to NYS Offices of Professions (see NYS Mandated Child Abuse).

THE COURSE MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN SIX (6) WEEKS OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION. IF THE COURSE IS NOT COMPLETED WITHIN SIX (6) WEEKS OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION, THE COURSE WILL BE DEREGISTERED AND ALL COURSE PROGRESS WILL BE FORFEITED. REREGISTRATION FOR THE COURSE WILL REQUIRE A NEW, SEPARATE PAYMENT.
The course certificate is generated with the name of the person who purchases this course. Under no circumstance will the names on certificates be substituted by our staff. No substitutions or refunds are available once the course is in progress.
Online course participants must have access to the Internet, a device with audio and video capabilities (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), a printer, and an email address.
Payment on behalf of another party is no longer accepted. Debit and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment and must be in the student or course participant’s name.
